There was an excellent response to the inaugural competition, with far more entries than expected and wonderful writing and ideas. It was great to see the variety of formats, from explorative essays to poetry to vignettes and short stories. It was incredibly difficult to narrow down the hundreds of entries to a shortlist, and everyone who participated should be proud of their efforts.
The shortlist in alphabetical order:
Anna-Luisa Bünz, Tromsø International School
Aurora Tu Vy Le Bell, Kongsberg International School
Avika X., International School of Bergen
Deepshika Sankarraj, Asker International School

Special mention also goes to Gustav Strøm Færden and Lily Bettum from CIS Moss, whose entries were excellent but well over the word limit, Ramzi Chedid from Haugesund International School, Julia Xin Ran Xu from Gjøvik International School and Alexandra Tokt from Kongsberg International School.
